SPORTING RULES RR011.1.1
DEFINITION UEM arranges European Cup with UEM. RR011.1.2 ROUNDS Total of five rounds should be arranged under patronage
of UEM in the time frame between July 1st and
August 31st of each year. Only three rounds will count for the
final Cup Championship. RR011.1.3. CATEGORIES
The
weight of the riders must be with sporting clothes (T-shirt, jeans).
Ballast over 1 Kg. is not allowed in any classes . For
the date of birth of the rider, see the UEM Sporting Code. RR011.1.4. LICENCE All riders must have an UEM Junior licence (Annual/One
event). RR011.1.5. BIKES Only minibikes of category defined in chapter 2,
technical rules. RR011.1.6. THE RACE TRACK The
race track must comply with UEM rules RR 07 and FMNR homologation . It
must be between 350 and 600 meters long; the starting grid must be
minimum 8 meter wide. Between any two track sides the clearance must be
at least 4 meters. Track

RR011.1.7. APPLICATION Organising club must receive applications in writing
not later than 14 days prior to the Race date. Application fee is EURO
60 (or equivalent in local currency) and will be collected during
administrative scrutineering. RR011.1.8. SCRUTINEERING Administrative scrutineering: all riders must present
their racing licences (for riders younger than 18 years responsibility
is with their statutory representative (proxy), statutory representative
must be present during whole event). Technical scrutineering:
a) two bikes are allowed for each riders
b) outfit is subject to inspection and all personal
safety equipment. Riders
and parents briefing must be on Saturday in all round of the Cup. Participation
is compulsory. RR011.1.9. EQUIPMENT During practice and race, the riders must wear the
following clothing, footwear and protections: a) protective full-face helmet (homologated according
FIM Technical rules) b) leather (or other durable anti-abrasion material)
suit c) gloves of durable material d) ankle-length leather (or other durable anti-abrasion
material) boots e) knee protectors f) back protector RR011.1.10. FREE PRACTICE Minimum of three (3) free practice must be planned,
each one must be at least 10 minutes long. Free practice will start
after administrative and technical scrutinering. RR011.1.11.
QUALIFICATION Measured
timed practicing will take place for each category in groups of 5 – 6
riders, based on I.D. numbers. Each
group will ride two practices of five measured laps each. The
list of qualified riders for a race will consist of riders placed on the
first X positions in each category. In
the case that the number of riders exceeds the capacity of the track,
organisers must program two practice groups. If
a class is split into several groups, these groups must be determined by
ballot. Each
group must be composed of the same number of riders rounded off to the
nearest figure. In
the case of use of transponder the number of riders will be as full
capacity of the track. RR011.1.12.
RACE The
distance for a race of each category is as follow :
Starting grid will be based on qualification results. RR011.1.13. FINAL CLASSIFICATION FOR CUP Racer will receive points UEM for each race in
accordance with points table on article RR 01.14.4 Final classification is based on the best three results
of all races. RR011.1.14. AWARDS Awards will be assigned to riders based on
classification in each race. Results must be published after each race. Material awards are recommended. RR011.1.15. PROTEST All protests must be submitted in accordance with the
UEM Disciplinary and Arbitration Code together with a fee of EURO 130
(or equivalent sum in national currency). RR011.1.16. INSURANCE Organiser must take out a policy in accordance with
national legal norms. Name of insurance company must be published in
Supplementary Regulations. RR.011.1.17. OFFICIALS FMNR must assign the following officials who must be a
holder of an UEM or FIM licence for each event of European Cup ( see
Art. RR02.2)

RR011.1.18. JURY According
RR 02.2.1 Each
FMN must register his own Delegate to the FMNR not later than 14 days
prior to race. RR011.2. TECHNICAL RULES RR011.2.1 SPECIFICATIONS Pocket Bike are special racing motorcycles equipped

ENGINE
Single
cylinder engine with max displacement 40 cc (two stroke) or 80 cc (four
stroke), air or water cooled, equipped by centrifugal clutch only-single
gear. Ignition/engine
control system (CDI) may not be modified or changed. RR011.2.3.1.
ENGINE FOR JUNIOR A Engine as in RR011.2.3 with power restriction: - restrictor between cylinder and muffler with max
diameter 9 mm and min. length 3 mm, bevel max 0.45x45 Grad. - Compression rate: 14:1 max. - no water cooled engine RR011.2.3.2. ENGINE FOR JUNIOR B/C Engine as in RR011.2.3 with power restriction: - restrictor between cylinder and muffler with max

CARBURETTOR Any
serial produced carburettor with max diameter of diffuser 14 mm for
Junior, 14
or 15 mm for Senior ; free
for Senior MIDI. RR011.2.5.
MUFFLER
Muffler of any design which can not overlap rear line
of motorcycle. Noise limit 97 dB/A @ 8.000-9.000 Rpm. The
muffler for Junior A/B/C must be a cylinder long 280 mm with a max
diameter of 24/25 mm and to be 1 or 2 mm tick. RR011.2.6.
WHEEL, RIMS, TYRES Rims must be from serial production of motorcycle
producer. Tyres can be with or without pattern. No kart tyres. Dimension of wheel with tyre : Min diameter 240 mm Max diameter 280 mm Max width 110 mm RR011.2.7. FUEL AND LIQUID Lead free gasoline max octane number 100. Liquid of the
cooled circuit as FIM Technical rules. RR011.2.8. STOP (kill) SWITCH Kill switch must be placed on left or right side of
steering bar, easily reachable by riders hand and must securely stop the
running engine. RR011.2.9. CONTROL LEVERS Max length of lever is 120 mm. Each lever must have
ball ending with min. diameter 14 mm. It is allowed to flatten the ball to 10 mm, borders of
flattened surface must be rounded with min. radius 5 mm. This ending
must be an integral part of lever. Each lever must be mounted on
separate pivot. RR011.2.10. FOOTRESTS Max width of footrests from top view is 45 mm.
Footrests can be tip-up type, but must be equipped by device which will
return them automatically to normal riding position. Each footrest must
have integral ending cover with min. 8 mm diameter. If footrests are not
tip-up type, they have to be equipped with rubber or teflon cover. RR011.2.11. BRAKES Motorcycle must be equipped by two independent
concentrically operating brakes, where one brake is for front wheel and
second brake is for rear wheel. Hydraulic brakes are forbidden. RR011.2.12. TRANSMISSIONS Transmission rates are not limited. Chain must be
covered by responsible way from the footrest. A
chain guard must be fitted in such a way as to prevent trapping between
the lower chain run and the final driven sprocket at the rear wheel. RR011.2.13. LINING Any parts of lining can not overlap front vertical which lead 100 mm in
front of front wheel axle. Mudguards are not considered as parts of linings. Any
part of motorcycle can not overlap rear vertical which lead 10 mm behind
the most rear end of the rear tyre. Sharp edges have to be rounded by 8
mm radius. RR011.2.14. NUMBER PLATES All plates are colour coded for each category as
follows:
Numbers sizes: Front number – height 100 mm, width 45 mm, thickness
of line 15 mm Rear number – height 70 mm, width 35 mm, thickness of
line 10 mm Inclination of front Number Plate can not exceed 15
degree from the vertical. Inclination of near Number Plates can not exceed 22
degree from vertical. On each motorcycle there are two rear number plates,
one on the left side and one on the right side. One number plate is on
the front windshield. Free band (background colour) with width min. 10
mm. must be around the numbers. Shape of numbers must meet FIM standards.
RR011.2.15. TOLERATION Dimensions are subject to consistent ± 5% toleration : only for the Art. RR011.2.2 rules.
